Tronox Incorporated (Tronox) is a global producer and marketer of titanium dioxide pigment (TiO2), a white pigment used in a range of products. The Company markets TiO2 under the brand name TRONOX. During the year ended December 31, 2007, its pigment segment represented approximately 93% of the Company's net sales. In addition, it produces electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD), sodium chlorate, boron-based and other specialty chemicals. The Company operates eight production facilities (five pigment and three other chemical products) and have direct sales and technical service organizations in the United States, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Tronox has one reportable segment, pigment, and other businesses, which include electrolytic and other chemical products. Tronox is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut.

The interview process consists of an initial phone interview, panel interview, phone interview with offer, drug test and physical exam.The phone interview is described as being easy with typical interview questions. The phone interview is followed up by a panel interview. The panel consists of five to six managers, process engineers and a team leader. Describe a situation where you were able to solve a problem that others had not been able to. Material and Energy balance stuff, thermodynamics, and Heat transfer subject material. Tell me about a time that you ran into a problem with your boss and how you went about handling it. The question that caught me off guard concerned the amount of time I was willing to work there. I was asked by a person who had 17 years working there, so I had to pause because I had not really thought that far into the future yet. I should have had an immediate answer ready, but unfortunately paused too long. Please provide an example of working with a supervisor no one respects.
