Cottontails Childcare & Learning Center prioritizes the development of each child. We believe in the value of guiding children to self-discovery and in the worth of each child. Cottontails employs a curriculum that aligns with the Early Learning Development Standards of Connecticut.
In 2006, Cottontails debuted as a small family daycare. After having my own children, I realized how essential it is for every child to have a compassionate, nurturing, 'home away from home' environment to attend each day. We observed infants grow and develop through simple social interactions and exploratory play. In 2014, Cottontails expanded from a 6-child family daycare to a 12-child group home daycare. We were thrilled to be able to provide care for more children. In 2021, our city had an urgent need for more high-quality child care. This is when Cottontails decided to establish our brand-new, state-of-the-art childcare facility. Our primary objective will remain the same as it was when we opened in 2006: to provide a compassionate, nurturing environment for children every day.
